5 things to do whilst in Berlin

Even as a complete stranger to the city, Berlin still feels like home. The atmosphere is calming yet it holds all the qualities of a bustling city. I've returned a couple of times in the last few years and I thought I'd share with you a list of things that make Berlin so special to me.

Brunchin' at No 197 Chiswick Fire Station

From the second I stepped through the door it was obvious that No. 197 Chiswick Fire Station was going to become one of my favourite spots in London. The whole aesthetic had me written all over it and I've taken some serious interior design inspo from there. My Instagram is like an ode to this beautiful little spot on Chiswick High Road at the moment.

Log Cabin Lovin' at Wareham Forest Lodge Retreat

I thought about not writing this blog post and keeping this hidden treasure my little secret but I can't not share this with you!! Especially after featuring it so heavily on my social media! I've received quite a few direct messages and emails this week asking me about my recent trip to the countryside and where I was staying so it would be rude not to share this little gem with you.

Cocktails and Dim Sum at Thai Silk London

Nestled amongst trees, arches and other vibrant bars and restaurants is Thai Silk, a delightful little Cocktail Bar and Thai Restaurant on Isabella Street in Southwark London.

We headed along for a Thursday evening date night last week to sip on cocktails, soak up the atmosphere and over indulge in Thai nibbles and dim sum. Can you believe until last week I never liked Thai Food? I had one bad experience many years back and have stayed clear since.. until my recent visit to Thai Silk where my faith in the cuisine has been completely restored!

Stress Free Hair & Make-up with Bidvine

I love experimenting with hair and make-up, don't get me wrong. I don't however love the hours before an important meeting or a night out when your hair just isn't cooperating and your winged eye-liner is forming the shape of a dinosaur.

This may sound like a huge first world issue but I can't be the only one who has cried into a hairbrush with frustration and *almost* cancelled plans because my hair and make-up doesn't look great..

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin | Full Review

As mentioned in my last blog post, we recently visited Dublin and had the best couple of days. The stay was made all the more memorable thanks to the wonderful Fitzwilliam Hotel who kindly hosted us for the trip.

From the second we stepped through the door, we noticed the impeccable customer service (quite literally - we were greeted by two friendly gentlemen who opened the door for us and carried our bags to reception ready for us to check in). Everyone we spoke to were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and more.

48 Hours in Dublin

I've just returned from a quick overnight trip to Dublin and had to share a few photos with you. We had the best couple of days exploring the cobbled streets and traditional pubs.

We caught the first flight from Cardiff airport on Wednesday morning and all it took was 45 minutes which meant we arrived in Dublin in time for breakfast. We checked into our hotel, freshened up and hit the city.

Our hotel was conveniently nestled between Grafton street and St Stephen's Green making it the perfect location for us to explore the city by foot - and umbrella.. It was a very drizzly few days but luckily it didn't dampen that famous Irish charm.
