MY LUXURY TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

When I first started travelling more often I couldn't care less about luggage or travel accessories. I would shove my clothes in a beaten up suitcase, put it in the hold and use whatever handbag I was using at the time for hand luggage..

Many of years (and trips) later and all I can think is boy was I an amateur!

Travel accessories are the kind of thing where you can invest in them once and they will last a lifetime. I also get somewhat sentimental over luggage nowadays, I treat them like little travel companions who get to see the world with me, albeit mainly through baggage claim and hotel rooms.

Stress Free Hair & Make-up with Bidvine

I love experimenting with hair and make-up, don't get me wrong. I don't however love the hours before an important meeting or a night out when your hair just isn't cooperating and your winged eye-liner is forming the shape of a dinosaur.

This may sound like a huge first world issue but I can't be the only one who has cried into a hairbrush with frustration and *almost* cancelled plans because my hair and make-up doesn't look great..

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin | Full Review

As mentioned in my last blog post, we recently visited Dublin and had the best couple of days. The stay was made all the more memorable thanks to the wonderful Fitzwilliam Hotel who kindly hosted us for the trip.

From the second we stepped through the door, we noticed the impeccable customer service (quite literally - we were greeted by two friendly gentlemen who opened the door for us and carried our bags to reception ready for us to check in). Everyone we spoke to were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and more.

48 Hours in Dublin

I've just returned from a quick overnight trip to Dublin and had to share a few photos with you. We had the best couple of days exploring the cobbled streets and traditional pubs.

We caught the first flight from Cardiff airport on Wednesday morning and all it took was 45 minutes which meant we arrived in Dublin in time for breakfast. We checked into our hotel, freshened up and hit the city.

Our hotel was conveniently nestled between Grafton street and St Stephen's Green making it the perfect location for us to explore the city by foot - and umbrella.. It was a very drizzly few days but luckily it didn't dampen that famous Irish charm.

Glam Rock Afternoon Tea at K West Hotel & Spa London

Afternoon Tea is one of my favourite things in life but I'll be the first to admit, it can get kinda boring. Especially when you're served the same standard finger sandwiches and scones every time. I'm constantly searching for places that serve afternoon tea with a twist and I've found a treasure I just have to share with you.

I recently got to experience the Glam Rock Afternoon Tea at the K West Hotel & Spa in West London. The hotel is located in Shepherds Bush so it's conveniently neighbouring vibrant bars, music venues and trendy stores - and of course, Westfield is only around the corner. The hotel was previously a recording studio and it has kept some of the original touches - including afternoon tea served on iconic vinyl sleeves.

Christmas in Berlin

I had doubt about writing this blog post considering the awful attack at one of Berlin's Christmas markets recently but I don't feel Berlin and it's dedication to festivity should be dampened by the brutality of the recent attacks. My heart goes out to anyone effected by the events and I hope that Berlin can shine brighter and stand together stronger than ever.

We recently visited Berlin for the second time in early December to explore some new areas, visit our favourite spots and indulge in all of the traditional Christmas markets.

TOP 2016 WINTER BOOTS

If there's two things you should know about me it's my love of big chunky shoes and my love for Winter... So the second that November 1st is here, I'm lusting over every bit of black leather and metal I can possibly get on my feet. Here's my top few picks this year, from left to right.
