Feeling 22 in Paris

There's nothing quite like wandering Parisian streets on a hot Summer's day. Paris is one of my favourite places and after a visit at Christmas time a few years back, I'd been itching to return for Summer.

We spent the mornings eating pastry and sipping on latte's and the afternoon wandering around until we stumbled on a new discovery.

We booked the cutest apartment on Air BNB a brief walk away from the Champes Elysees. It was on the ground floor of a quintessentially Parisian building with a courtyard full of plants and it made our stay in the city perfect.

As we have visited the city before we didn't have any real plans set out and this was exactly what I wanted. So often city breaks are exhausting and I get home in need of another holiday straight after but we kept this relaxed and took it easy each day. Trying out new coffee spots, dipping our feet in the fountains at Trocadero, late night shopping for macaroons and eating A LOT of carbs.

Of course we set aside a day (MY BIRTHDAY!) to spend at Disneyland which is always a dream - no matter what your age, I truly think that place is the best place on earth to spend a Birthday!

There's an Italian restaurant right in the middle of the Champes Elysees called Cafe Roma and it's serves the best carbonara, it's also inexpensive for those visiting the city on a budget. I always make time for an evening here when visiting the city.

If you are planning a trip you also HAVE to get coffee at Cafe Kitsune! It not only serves the best coffee but it's located in Palais Royal so the location is beautiful, it's also perfect for getting style inspo from the uber trendy Parisians, when they aren't buying multiple Chanel bags!

I'm not going to ramble on any longer as these are the kind of posts where the pictures do the talking!

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to visit next? I'm thinking Budapest, Amsterdam or Barcelona?
